Jhanvi Katariya earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Common Law from Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, India, and went on to complete her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Rights Law at the same university. After moving to Canada, she completed the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto.

Jhanvi is licensed as a lawyer by the Law Society of Ontario, where she is called to the bar as a Barrister and Solicitor, and she is also an Advocate with the Bar Council of India. She brings more than six years of combined legal experience across Canada and India to her practice, which is focused on Canadian immigration law.

Her experience spans the full breadth of immigration practice. She has managed temporary and permanent residence files from first intake to final submission, including Express Entry, provincial nominee programs, family and spousal sponsorship, citizenship, and Humanitarian and Compassionate applications. She has prepared refugee protection claims before the Immigration and Refugee Board, guided applicants through Federal Court judicial review, and advised multinational corporate clients on work permits under CUSMA, intra-company transfers, and LMIA applications.

Beyond her casework, Jhanvi has co-authored published articles on Canadian immigration policy and national security law. Her litigation roots run deep: earlier in her career she appeared independently before the Gujarat High Court in India, arguing constitutional and civil matters.
